(More customer reviews)This is a great set of tools so far.The drill is strong, smooth, and very quiet.The reciprocating saw is pretty smooth and the trigger allows good speed control.I used the circular saw this weekend to break down 3/4 inch plywood. The Bosch cuts quickly and cleanly without bogging down, even when the plywood is warped and bowed.2x4 lumber was no match either, and the saw performed flawlessly with the stock blade.Battery life was excellent.I had not charged the batteries since the day I bought the kit about two months ago and I cut a total of twenty feet of 3/4 inch ply, and made about twenty five cuts on 4 inch PVC pipe on one two month old battery charge.I was impressed.This kit is worth the money, even if you have to pay full price.I can't wait to try the new impact driver to compare it to my Makita 18v lithium.

Advanced Litheon Technology for Optimal Performance
This kit contains four 18-volt Litheon series tools, all of which utilize state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery technology and Bosch's proprietary ECP system. ECP guarantees optimal performance of the tools and batteries, even under tough working conditions.
Litheon batteries are designed to have a maximum cycle life with a minimal amount of self-discharge and absolutely no memory effect, so Bosch's Litheon tools are always ready to work when you are. Unique, Flexible Power System
Like all tools in Bosch's 18-Volt line, the tools in this kit can be used with either a 1.3-Ah BAT609 Slim Pack battery or a 2.6-Ah BAT318 Fat Pack. If you're looking for a lighter-weight option, the Slim Pack is the perfect choice. If longer runtime is what you need, the Fat Pack will do the job. 17618 Hammer Drill/Driver
The 17618 Hammer Drill/Driver offers fast speeds, high torque, and durable construction. Its high-torque mode can produce over 650 in./lbs. of driving force, while the high-speed mode can produce 2,050 RPM, or up to 30,750 BPM. To protect against real-world conditions, the Durashield housing and unibody power-train combine with a 1/2-inch metal chuck and metal collar for maximum durability.
For added convenience, a built-in LED illuminates dark or enclosed areas, while an ergonomic two-tone, soft-grip handle offers extended comfort. Finally, a 25-position clutch and variable-speed trigger let you match the correct speed to the job, so you can get complete control and precise results.
CCS180 Circular Saw
This kit also comes with the CCS180 Circular Saw, which features a 6.5-inch saw blade that can cut through two-inch material, even at a full depth of cut. Designed for use with thin kerf blades only, this powerful tool comes with an exclusive anti-snag lower guard that helps you ease into the cutting material, as well as an easy-to-read depth-of-cut gauge for improved accuracy.
There's also a 50-degree bevel for versatility, a heavy-duty aluminum foot and upper guard for durability, and a spindle lock that allows for fast and easy blade changes.
CRS180 Reciprocating Saw
The CRS180 Reciprocating Saw has a compact, lightweight design, so you can work in tight spaces and at awkward angles without over-taxing your muscles. Variable two-speed design allows you to adjust your speed to match the material you're cutting, and the "Lock-Jaw" blade holder makes for effortless blade changes.
For added flexibility, the saw has a 1-1/8-inch stroke that allows the maximum amount of material to be removed per stroke, and the variable-speed trigger lets you ease into the material without added kickback.
Work Light with Wide-Angle Beam for Enhanced Visibility
To complement these heavy-duty tools, this kit comes with a compact work light that fits into hard-to-reach or narrow spaces and provides up to four hours of continuous runtime. Its handle has two screw holes, ideal for mounting or positioning the light from above, while its wide-angle beam covers your work area. An added bonus, no tools are required to change the bulb. Finally, this work light has seven detents and a 360-degree handle rotation, so you can place the light in the exact position you want.
